Finding My Way
So with the return of the sun, business is, as expected, booming! And I’m getting tons of pressure from all sides to expand into a full fledged business. Pressure from Ella, from my parents, from friends, potential business partners, but most of all from myself. I have this urge to kinda grow up. I mean, I love the boater’s life. I’ll always love waking up to the sun shining, hopping in my boat and just floating out into the ether of the sea. I love losing myself in the waves, the gulls, the ice cold brewskies. But I’m not getting any younger. And Ella’s not gonna wait forever. I wanna be able to bring my kids up to be boaters. I want to be young enough to teach them all the tricks of the trade. So I actually went out and got a ring. A real simple one, with some small Celtic style etchings on it, but one that I know Ella would love. I’m trying to figure out a way to pop the question. This is the right thing to do…I want to grow up, and Ella is the one who’s driven me to want this. I think once I get her, I can start the rest of my life, and find people now to help me with my business plans. But what are those plans, exactly? I dunno yet…hopefully people search will be the answer. I have the leadership skills and the knack for yachting—now I just need to find the people.
