Wedding Wedding Wedding AAAAAH!
GAH, I’m rather unhappy if you couldn’t tell. I can’t believe I let myself get talked into this wedding thing. It just occured to me that I hate weddings. And now I’m having one. A big one. A really big one. Ella has just lost her mind over it. Her mother is getting involved now, as well, saying stuff like she’s waited so long for her daughter to get married and that she’s going to make it a night to remember. I don’t know, it’s just getting to my head because guess who has to pay for it all? That’s right. Me. Me. ME!!!
I wish I could go back in time and tell Ella that there was no way I was having a wedding. Maybe she would’ve dumped me, but honestly, this stress is making me have second thoughts about her anyway. She’s not a full fledged Bridezilla yet, but you never know. She’s constantly been on my ass about doing a person lookup for the guest list. Dude, how many guests does she need? She’s flying in relatives from Iceland just to come, does she really need her 3rd cousin twice removed on her great uncle’s side to come? I swear to God, I never knew her family was so huge. And they’re all weird looking, like rejected Sesame Street Characters. I’m trying to hold my tongue, really I am, but all the engagement sugar seems to have evaporated in a cloud of wedding fervor. Hopefully we can get the magic back cuz I dunno how I’m gonna make it to the fall otherwise…
